Don't get confused

There is no such thing as a "teacup"chihuahua !

According to the AKC breed standard, Chihuahuas are supposed to weigh 2 to 6 lbs for show , so your 3-4 lb Chihuahua isn't a toy or a teacup (gee why do people use those terms with small dogs like a Chihuahua anyway!). It's a regular sized Chihuahua.

People that use the word ""TEACUP"" are just trying to make a fast buck by making it sound rare . ITS NOT >>>

If you see a site using that term .. Ask Lots of questions and get a good health guarantee pups that are extremely tiny can and do have health problems .Also they sometimes are not as long lived , and accidents happen to the tiny ones much easier than to a normal sized Chihuahua,

Ask yourself if you are prepared to deal with all the issues a tiny one might have .ALSO Many times a breeder can not tell for sure how small a Chihuahua will stay ... So when you find a breeder that tells you they guarantee size , get it in writing.

Teacup" is a marketing term used by unethical breeders to describe dogs bred to be extremely small. Generally, when size becomes the main focus, there is no regard given to the overall health of the animal. Breeders who claim to have "teacups" are the types you should avoid at all costs. They are either trying to make a quick buck by misleading people, or don't have the slightest bit of knowledge about the dogs they are breeding.

A tip to avoid such scams, research the breed in detail first. Familiarize yourself with common red flags associated with breeders so you know what to avoid. Educate yourself on the breed standard so you can recognize dogs that meet that criteria and then look for breeders who adhere to that standard.

Don't fall for the term Teacup As Responsible breeders do not use it ...!!! When buying a puppy ask for references .. both vet and Past buyers, Do your homework don't just fall for that cute photo and have to have it as doing so may break your heart .!!

I'm Sue and i have been breeding and showing AKC Chihuahua's for 46 years , And Toy Fox for 33 years . I love my dogs they are my fur kids ,I have said for years they can't all be show dogs but they can all be loved ,and hopefully the love of a tiny dog is what bought you to my site .

I take Personal Check or a money order for puppy deposit only and the balance is due before the puppy is shipped , Balance to be paid by Check,bank check or Wal-Mart Money gram . we much preferr that you come to us and pick up your puppy.

If you are only looking for a pet and the price is to high """ASK"" as we sometimes lower it for forever pet homes !
