Purchasing a Puppy
Have you found the perfect puppy and are ready to take the next step? Here's what you need to know. If you would like to come pick your puppy up, contact us with the contact information listed below and we will arrange a time that is convenient for you to come get your new family member. If you are going to have the puppy shipped and you want to reserve a puppy, we require a $200.00 deposit that goes towards the purchase price to hold the puppy. This deposit guarantees that we will hold the puppy for the buyer and that the buyer will complete the purchase of the puppy. If the buyer does not complete the purchase of the puppy 14 days before the puppy is to be shipped, the deposit will not be refunded. Deposit is also not refundable for change of mind .All puppies will be vet checked prior to final sale. If our vet detects a problem, you will have the right to pick another puppy or receive a refund.Should the puppy die or have a health defect while in my care deposit will also be refunded. The balance for the puppy is due 14 days prior to transporting the puppy so that airline reservations can be made in a timely manner. If you are picking up your puppy, the balance is due upon receiving the puppy.
TRANSPORTING Your Puppy
If you can't come out to pick your pup up in person we use a very reliable nanny transport that covers most USA states Fee for transport runs $400-$450 depending on location
Forms of Payment
DEPOSIT of $200.00 CAN BE TAKEN VIA Personal Check Or Money order , I allow 8 days hold on the pup to allow time for it to arrive.
We can accept final payment via cash, a Wal-Mart money gram, a bank cashier's check, Final payment is in person or by snail mail only . Puppy much be paid in full 14 days before transport or at time of pickup .

Thank you for visiting. We is located in rural Kansas at Sabetha which is in the northeast corner of the state. We are dedicated to raising quality, happy, healthy puppies that meet breed standards. Take your time browsing around and if you do not see the specific puppy that you have in mind, please give us a call ( 785-799-6551) as we may have a new litter that is not yet listed.
At Lavida Chihuahua's we strive to raise quality, happy, healthy puppies at affordable prices. We breed for conformation and breed type. Many of our parents are AKC Champions or have champion backgrounds.
Each Lavida Chihuahua puppy is sold with a limited registry unless another agreement is reached before the sale. Our puppies are sold as "companion" animals and not sold as either "show quality" or "pet quality". Many puppies have left here as show potential but instead were sold as someone's life long companion. Our parents are all AKC registered And Pups may or may not be available with Registration depending on the puppy and the price .
Pet Puppies are priced accordingly ...Show Potential puppies or Breeding puppies are available with full AKc registration by prior arrangement ..
All puppies are health checked and released by our veterinarian prior to traveling to your home. A one year health guarantee is also offered by Lavida Chihuahua's For any puppy over the purchase price of $2000.00.( Read our health contract ) Puppies sold under the $2000.00 price for pet only are sold ""AS IS"" due to many people not understanding the stress factor of a chihuahua many stress and have issues with moving into new surroundings . Puppies that are tiny must eat and drink and new owners should be ready to deal with this when purchasing a tiny breed of dog . Each puppy is current on vaccines and worming's. You will need to schedule an appointment with your veterinarian for the initial health check and to establish a vaccination schedule. Please strictly adhere to the schedule. Your puppy will also be implanted with a micro-chip for identification.
We are a very small kennel which allows us to spend quality time with each adult dog and puppy. A new kennel was built in 2007 which includes heat, airconditioning, Large roomy runs, fresh blankets and bedding, and of course country music. At weaning time each puppy is removed from their mother and started on housebreaking and becoming part of the Lavida household .
At Lavida Chihuahua's, we love our animals dearly and will expect you to do the same. Each puppy has been very well socialized and encourage you as the new owner to continue the socialization. Puppy kindergarten classes and obedience classes are strongly suggested. An obedient pet is a true joy.
Please become familiar with the breed by doing your research. Be prepared to answer questions when contacting me. We definitely want to make certain that we are placing each puppy in a loving environment. Feel free to ask questions also. as with my 45 years of breeding and showing AKc Chihuahua's i can answer many of the question you have about the breed .
Please Don't ask for a teacup, or a micro tiny , as a Chihuahua Is a Chihuahua they came in all sizes and shapes and colors just like people do ...
If you have children i recommend a 5-7 pound dog ... they will be a much more fun member of your family and they have much less health problems than the tiny ones do ...Please be a responsible pet owner ....
